This Data Privacy Policy describes the categories of personal data 1st Blisworth Scout Group process through this website and for what purposes.

1st Blisworth Scout Group are committed to collecting and using such data fairly and in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the regulations set by the European Union, and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018), the UK Law that encompasses the GDPR.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of this website, 1stblisworth.org.uk, the website of 1st Blisworth Scout Group.

Who we are

1st Blisworth Scout Group are an excepted charity by the Charity Commissioner for England and Wales.

The Data Controller for 1st Blisworth Scout Group is the Executive Committee who are appointed at an Annual General Meeting and are Charity Trustees. The Chair of the Charity Trustees is Kevin Jeffery and can be contacted via 1stBlisworth@gdscouts.org.uk.

From this point on, 1st Blisworth Scout Group will be referred to as “we” or “our”.

Being a small charity, we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

The contact forms in use on our website capture personal data when submitted. Our forms only capture personal data that is provided by yourself when completing the form.

Caldera Forms stores a record of all form submissions. Your data may be deleted by the site administrator. You may request a report of saved data related to your email address.

The data provided is shared via email with the relevant volunteer(s) so that your enquiry can be actioned. This platform will retain your details for a maximum of 28 days from the date of submission.

The information you submit through our contact forms will not used for marketing purposes.

For users that register on our website (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Contact form entries are kept by this platform for a maximum of 28 days from the date of submission.

If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
